τότε οἱ καθ’ ἡμᾶς ἅγιοι ἐπίσκοποι θεωροῦντες τοῦ ἀνδρὸς τὴν ἁπλότητα καὶ τὸ ἄπειρον αὐτὸν εἶναι γραμμάτων ἔπειθον μὴ δοῦναι ἑαυτὸν εἰς τὸ μέσον, μή ποτε παρὰ τοῖς μοχθηροῖς καὶ τῆς ἀληθείας ἐχθροῖς γέλως γένηται.
