Τοῦτον τὸν ἅγιον καὶ προσκυνητὸν ὄρον τῆς ὁρθῆς καὶ ἀμωμήτου πίστεως παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου λαβόντες οἱ ἱεροὶ ἀπόστολοι πάσῃ τῇ ὐπό τὸν οὐρανὸν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐκκλησίᾳ ἐκήρυξαν, ὡς πληρωθῆναι ἐπ' αὐτοῦ τὸ Προφητικὸν λόγιον τὸ φάσκον· »εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἐξῆλθεν ὁ φθόγγος αὐτῶν καὶ εἰς τὰ πέρατα τῆς οἰκομένης τὰ ῤἠματα αὐτῶν«.
