ἐπὶ δὲ τοῦ ζῳδιακοῦ κύκλου λαμβανομένων τῶν διαστημάτων ἄνισον εἶναι συμβέβηκε τὸ ἀπὸ τῆς μεσουρανήσεως μέχρι τῆς ἀνατολῆς διάστημα τῷ ἀπὸ τῆς μεσουρανήσεως μέχρι τῆς δύσεως διὰ τὴν λοξότητα τοῦ ζῳδιακοῦ κύκλου. καὶ ἔστιν ὅτε τῶν ἓξ ζῳδίων τῶν διὰ παντὸς ὑπὲρ γῆν ὄντων τρία μὲν καὶ ἥμισυ ἀπὸ τῆς μεσουρανήσεως πρὸς ἀνατολὴν ἀπολαμβάνεται, δύο δὲ καὶ ἥμισυ πρὸς δύσιν.
