Τῶν Πυθαγορικῶν τινὸς ἀκοῦσαί φησιν αὐτὸν Γλαῦκος ὁ Ῥηγῖνος, κατὰ τοὺς αὐτοὺς χρόνους αὐτῷ γεγονώς. Φησὶ δὲ καὶ Ἀπολλόδωρος ὁ Κυζικηνὸς Φιλολάῳ αὐτὸν συγγεγονέναι. Εἰς δὲ Θουρίους αὐτὸν νεωστὶ παντελῶς ἐκτισμένους Γλαῦκος ἐλθεῖν φησίν.
