Ἀλλὰ δὴ τοῦτο τῷ λόγῳ δυνατὸν γενέσθω. καὶ δὴ τοίνυν σύνειμι καὶ σύνεστι κἀκεῖνος ἐμοὶ κἀκείνῳ ἐγώ. τίνα τρόπον; τίνι τίς ὤν; Ἕλλην βαρβάρῳ. πῶς ἀκούων καὶ λέγων; πότερα μόνος μόνῳ; ἀλλ᾿ ἀγνοήσομεν τοὺς ἀλλήλων λόγους. ἀλλὰ μεθ᾿ ἑρμηνέως; τρίτος ἄρα μάρτυς γίγνεται τῶν κρύπτεσθαι δεομένων.
