Ὑπερείδης ἐν τῷ περὶ τοῦ ταρίχους οὐ μόνον ὡς ἡ συνήθεια χρῆται τῷ ὀνόματι, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ μεμισθωμένου ἐπὶ τῷ τὰ ἐνοίκια ἐκλέγειν ἢ οἰκίας ἢ συνοικίας, ὡς ὁ αὐτὸς ῥήτωρ δηλοῖ ἐν τῷ πρὸς Ἀριστογείτονα καὶ Σαννυρίων Γέλωτι καὶ Δίφιλος Ἐμπόρῳ.
