Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ κατὰ Νεαίρας ἢ ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ πωλῶσί τι ἀποπεφασμένως. Δίδυμός φησιν ἀντὶ τοῦ πορνεύωσι φανερῶς· πωλεῖν γὰρ τὸ παρέχειν ἑαυτὴν τοῖς βουλομένοις, ὅθεν καὶ τὸ πορνεύειν, ὅπερ ἐστὶ περνάναι. ἐγὼ δέ φημι ὅτι κυρίως ἔταξε νῦν ὁ ῥήτωρ τὸ πωλεῖν· φησὶ γὰρ τὸν νόμον οὐκ ἐᾶν ἐπὶ ταύταις μοιχὸν λαβεῖν, ὁπόσαι ἂν ἐπ’ ἐργαστηρίου κάθωνται ἢ ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ πωλῶσί τι ἀποπεφασμένως.
