Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ κατὰ Μειδίου. ἄλλοι μὲν ἄλλως ἀπέδοσαν, βέλτιον δὲ ὑπολαμβάνειν ἐπὶ κόρρης λέγεσθαι τὸ ἐπὶ τῆς γνάθου, ὃ λέγομεν ἐν τῷ βίῳ ῥάπισμα. Ὑπερείδης γοῦν ἢ Φιλῖνος ἐν τῷ κατὰ Δωροθέου, προειπὼν τὸν ῥαπίσαντα Ἱππόνικον ἐπὶ κόρρης γραφῆναι ὕβρεως, ἐν τοῖς ἑξῆς ὥσπερ ἐξηγεῖται τοὔνομα λέγων ἔπειτα Ἱππόνικος ὑπ’ Αὐτοκλέους μόνον ἐρραπίσθη τὴν γνάθον, ἐγὼ δ’ ὑπὸ τούτων τῶν τριχῶν εἱλκόμην, κονδύλους ἔλαβον.
