Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ περὶ τῆς πρεσβείας. ὁπότε βούλοιτο πόλις ἢ ἄρχων ἀναιρεθῆναί τινα τῶν μὴ ὑφ’ ἑαυτοῖς, ἐκήρυττε δώσειν χρήματα, εἴ τις αὐτὸν ἀνέλοι, τόσα καὶ τόσα, καθάπερ Ξέρξῃ ἐπεκήρυξαν οἱ Ἕλληνες, εἴ τις ἢ ζῶντα ἢ νεκρὸν κατάγοι Ἀθήναζε, δώσειν ρ τάλαντα. τὸ περὶ φιλίας καὶ διαλλαγῶν κήρυκας πέμπειν· Δημοσθένης Φιλιππικῶν ε.
