Gesellsch. 16, 1967, 16 (10): ... ταῦτα μὲν ἔφαμεν παροξύνεσθαι, λέγω δὲ τὸ ‘ἁπλόος’, ‘διπλόος’, ‘τριπλόος’ καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶ τοιαῦτα. ὅτι γὰρ οὐκ ἐστὶ σύνθετα, ἐν τῆι εἰς ‘—ους’ καταλήξει ἐροῦμεν. τὰ μέτοι κύρια, εἰ καὶ σπάνια εὑρέθη, προπαροξύνεται, ὥσπερ ἔχει τὸ ‘Σίγγοος’· ἐστὶ δὲ πόλις, ὡς Ἑκαταῖος Περιηγήσει Εὐρώπης.
