(4) Τῶν δὲ τετραμέτρων τὸ μὲν καταληκτικὸν καθαρόν ἐστι τὸ τοιοῦτον (Sapph. 62) κατθνάσκει Κυθέρη’ ἁβρὸς Ἄδωνις· τί κε θεῖμεν; καττύπτεσθε κόραι καὶ κατερείκεσθε χιτῶνας· τὸ δὲ τὴν δευτέραν ἰαμβικὴν ἔχον καλεῖται Πριάπειον, οἷον (Anacr. 17) ἠρίστησα μὲν ἰτρίου λεπτοῦ μικρὸν ἀποκλάς, οἴνου δ’ ἐξέπιον κάδον· νῦν δ’ ἁβρῶς ἐρόεσσαν ψάλλω πηκτίδα, τῇ φίλῃ κωμάζων † παιδὶ ἁβρη. πολυσχημάτιστον μὲν οὖν αὐτὸ ποιοῦσιν, ἀλλὰ τό ψάλλω πηκτίδα, τῇ φίλῃ κωμάζων † παιδὶ ἁβρη. πολυσχημάτιστον μὲν οὖν αὐτὸ ποιοῦσιν, ἀλλὰ τό γε καθαρῶς ἐσχηματισμένον ἐστὶ τοιοῦτον. ―
