[15] Polyb. XII 27 δυεῖν γὰρ ὄντων κατὰ φύσιν ὡσανεί τινων ὀργάνων ἡμῖν, οἶς πάντα πυνθανόμεθα καὶ πολυπραγμονοῦμεν, ἀκοῆς καὶ ὁράσεως, ἀληθινωτέρας δ’ οὔσης οὐ μικρῶι τῆς ὁράσεως κατὰ τὸν Ἡράκλειτον· ὀφθαλμοὶ γὰρ τῶν ὤτων ἀκριβέστεροι μάρτυρες.
