[30] Strabo I 6 p. 3 Βέλτιον δ’ Ἡ. καὶ ὁμηρικωτέρως ὁμοίως ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀρκτικοῦ τὴν ἄρκτον ὀνομάζων· ἠοῦς καὶ ἑσπέρας τέρματα ἡ ἄρκτος καὶ ἀντίον τῆς ἄρκτου οὖρος αἰθρίου Διός. ὁ γὰρ ἀρκτικός ἐστι δύσεως καὶ ἀνατολῆς ὅρος, οὐχ ἡ ἄρκτος.
