116 ΗΘ. καὶ ἔστι δοθεῖσα ἡ ΑΒ, δοθεῖσα ἄρα καὶ ἡ ΗΘ· καί εἰσι τῶν ΑΒ ΗΘ δύο μέσαι ἀνὰ λόγον αἱ Γ∠ ΕΖ· δοθεῖσα ἄρα ἐστὶν ἡ Γ∠· δεήσει ἄρα εἰς τὴν ὀργανικὴν κατασκευὴν λαβεῖν τῆς ΑΒ τριπλασίαν τὴν ΗΘ, ἐπειδήπερ τὸ βέλος τοῦ βέλους ἐστὶ τριπλάσιον, καὶ τῶν ΑΒ ΗΘ δύο μέσας ἀνὰ λόγον λαβεῖν τὰς Γ∠ ΕΖ, καὶ ἔσται ἡ τοῦ ζητουμένου τρήματος διάμετρος ἡ Γ∠. Ὡς δὲ δεῖ, δύο δοθεισῶν εὐθειῶν, δύο μέσας ἀνὰ λόγον λαβεῖν, ἑξῆς ἐροῦμεν.|
