Τὸ δὲ βησαλικόν· σύνθες τὴν διάμετρον καὶ τὸ πάχος· γίνονται πόδες ῑε· ταῦτα ἑνδεκάκις· γίνονται ρξε· τούτων τὸ ζ΄· γίνονται πόδες κγ U+2220΄ ιδ΄. καὶ τὸ περισσὸν τῆς καθέτου ἐπάρας τὸ ἐξ εὐλόγου, τουτέστι τοὺς ϛ U+2220΄ δ΄ πόδας, λοιπὸν μένει σοι ποδὸς τὸ U+2220΄. ταῦτα σύνθες, ἐπειδὴ ἔνθεν καὶ ἐκεῖθεν περισσεύονται τοῦ ποδὸς τὸ U+2220΄· γίνεται ποὺς ᾱ· μῖξον τοῖς κγ U+2220΄· γίνονται πόδες κδ U+2220΄· ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὸ πλάτος καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ πάχος ᾱ U+2220΄· γίνονται πόδες 𝔮ᾱ U+2220΄.
