Ποίει τὴν κάθετον καὶ τὴν βάσιν· γίνονται πόδες ῑϛ· ὧν τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται η· ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὴν κάθετον· γίνονται πόδες λβ· πρόσθες τὸ ιϛ΄· γίνονται πόδες λδ. τὴν δὲ περίμετρον εὑρήσομεν οὕτως· σύνθες τὸ ἥμισυ τῆς διαμέτρου καὶ τὴν κάθετον· γίνονται ῑ· ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὰ κβ· γίνονται πόδες σκ· ὧν τὸ ιδ΄· γίνονται πόδες ῑε U+2220΄ ζ΄ ιδ΄.
