Αἱ μὲν εὔτακτοι ἐπιφάνειαι ἐμετρήθησαν· αἱ δὲ ἄτακτοι καταδιαιροῦνται εἰς τρίγωνα ἢ εἰς τμήματα, ὡς ἂν ἐπιδέχηται τὸ σχῆμα. εἰ δὲ μὴ ἐπίπεδος, ἀλλὰ ἄτακτος, ὥσπερ ἀνδρίαντος, ὀθόνην ἢ χάρτην περιειλεῖν καὶ ἐκτείνοντα μετρεῖν.
