Τὸ δὲ ἑξαγώνιον ἐἀν ἔχῃ διάμετρον μονάδων ῑ, μῆκος μονάδων ῑ, κάθετον μονάδων ε, πόσου τὸ στερεὸν τοῦ ἀέρος; ποίει οὕτως· ταῦτα ἐφʼ ἑαυτά· ταῦτα ἐννεακαιδεκάκις· τούτων τὸ κα΄. τὴν δὲ ἐπιφάνειαν τῆς χωρήσεως· τὴν διαγώνιον ἐφʼ ἑαυτήν· ταῦτα ἑνδεκάκις· τούτων τὸ ιδ΄. τοσούτου ἡ ἐπιφάνεια τοῦ ἑξαγωνίου.
