Χώραν ἑξάγωνον μετρήσωμεν οὕτως· τὴν μέσην τετράγωνον καὶ τὰς μέσας τριγώνους, καθὼς καὶ τὰς λοιπάς, ὁμοίως καὶ ὀκταγώνους χώρας· καὶ χωρὶς τὰ τρίγωνα.
