κθ. Τριγώνου ὄντος τοῦ ΑΒΓ, καὶ καθέτου τῆς Α∠ διαγαγεῖν τὴν ΑΕ ἀπολαμβάνουσαν τὸ ΑΒΕ τρίγωνον δοθέν. γεγονέτω. δοθὲν οὖν καὶ τὸ ὑπὸ ΑΒΕ· δοθὲν ἄρα τὸ Ε. ἔστω οὖν ἡ Α∠ κάθετος μοιρῶν ϛ· τὸ δὲ ἀφαιρούμενον τρίγωνον μοιρῶν με. δὶς τὰ με γίνονται 𝔮. παραβάλλω παρὰ τὸν ϛ, γίνονται ιε. ἀπειλήφθω οὖν ἡ ΒΕ μοιρῶν ιε καὶ ἐπεζεύχθω ἡ ΑΕ. ἔσται δὴ τὸ ΑΒΕ τρίγωνον μοιρῶν με.
