εὑρίσκοντι οὖν σοι τὰς τοιαύτας ἀποτομὰς ῥᾴδιον ἔσται σοι καὶ τὴν κάθετον θηρᾶσθαι· ἢ γὰρ ἀφαιρῶν τὸν ἀπὸ τοῦ πολλαπλασιασμοῦ τῆς μείζονος ἀποτομῆς ἀπὸ τοῦ πολλαπλασιασμοῦ τῆς μείζονος ὑποτεινούσης ἕξεις τὴν κάθετον ἢ τὸν ἀπὸ τοῦ πολλαπλασιασμοῦ τῆς ἐλάττονος ἀποτομῆς ἀφαιρῶν ἐκ τοῦ τῆς ἐλάττονος ὑποτεινούσης.
