Ἐὰν θέλῃς τὴν διάμετρον εὑρεῖν ἀπὸ τῆς πλευρᾶς τοῦ αὐτοῦ ἑξαγώνου, ποίει τὸ ἀνάπαλιν οὕτως· πάντοτε τὴν πλευρὰν ποίει ἑξάκις, ἐπειδὴ ἑξάγωνός ἐστι· γίνονται πόδες ξ΄· ἄρτι μέριζε καθολικῶς ὧν γ″ γίνονται πόδες κ΄· τοσούτων ποδῶν ἔσται ἡ διάμετρος τοῦ ἑξαγώνου.
