Ἔστω τρίγωνον ἰσόπλευρον καὶ ἐχέτω ἑκάστην πλευρὰν ἀνὰ πόδας λ΄, καὶ ἐγγεγράφθω κύκλος· εὑρεῖν αὐτοῦ τὴν διάμετρον· ποιῶ οὕτως· τὸ ἐμβαδόν ἐστι ποδῶν τ𝒢Ϛ΄· ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὲ δ΄ γίνονται πόδες αφξ΄· ἄρτι σύνθες τὰς τρεῖς πλευράς· γίνονται πόδες 𝒢΄· ἄρτι μερίζω τῶν ,αφξ΄ τὸ 𝒢″· γίνονται πόδες ιζ΄ γ″· τοσούτων ἡ διάμετρος τοῦ κύκλου.
