Ἐὰν θέλῃς ἀπὸ τῆς περιμέτρου τὸ ἐμβαδὸν εὑρεῖν, τοὺς κβ΄ πόδας τῆς περιμέτρου πολυπλασίασον ἐφʼ ἑαυτούς· γίνονται πόδες υπδ΄· τούτους ἑπταπλασίασον· γίνονται πόδες γτπη΄ λη΄ Ϲ· τοσούτων ἔσται ποδῶν τὸ ἐμβαδόν.
