Ἀψίδα μετρῆσαι, ἧς ἡ διάμετρος ποδῶν ιδ΄, ἡ δὲ κάθετος ποδῶν ζ΄· εὑρεῖν αὐτῆς τὸ ἐμβαδόν· ποίει οὕτως· τὴν διάμετρον ἐφ᾿ ἑαυτὴν γίνονται πόδες ρ𝒢Ϛ΄· τούτους ἑνδεκαπλασίασον· γίνονται πόδες βρνϚ΄· ὧν τὸ κη˝ γίνονται πόδες οζ΄· τοσούτων ποδῶν ἔσται τὸ ἐμβαδόν.
