Ὁ ῥόμβος, οὗ τὰ σκέλη ἀνὰ ποδῶν ιγ΄, ἡ δὲ διαγώνιος ποδῶν ι΄· εὑρεῖν αὐτοῦ τὸ ἐμβαδόν· ποίει οὕτως· ἤχθω κάθετος διατέμνουσα τὴν διαγώνιον· ἡ δὲ ἀχθεῖσα ἔχει πόδας κδ΄, καὶ γεγόνασι διαμετρήσεις ἰσοσκελῶν· ὧν τὰ σκέλη ἀνὰ ποδῶν ιγ΄, ἡ δὲ βάσις ποδῶν ι΄, ἡ δὲ κάθετος ἑκάστη ἀνὰ ποδῶν ιβ΄· ὡς γίνεσθαι τὸ ἐμβαδὸν ἑκάστου τριγώνου ποδῶν ξ΄, τοῦ ὅλου ῥόμβου ὄντος δηλαδὴ ποδῶν ρκ΄.
