ιϛ. Δύο θέσει παραλλήλων οὐσῶν τῶν ΑΒ, Γ∠ καὶ δοθέντος τοῦ Ε διαγαγεῖν τὴν ΚΒ∠ ποιοῦσαν συναμφότερον τὴν ΑΒ, Γ∠ δοθεῖσαν. γεγονέτω· καὶ τῇ ΑΒ ἴση ἡ ∠Ζ. δοθεῖσα ἄρα ἡ Γ∠Ζ· δοθὲν ἄρα τὸ Ζ. ἐπεζεύχθω ἡ ΑΖ· θέσει ἄρα ἡ ΑΖ. καὶ δίχα τέτμηται κατὰ τὸ Η· ἴσαι γάρ εἰσιν αἱ ΑΒ, ∠Ζ· δοθὲν ἄρα τὸ Η. ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ Ε· θέσει ἄρα ἡ ΕΗ. δεήσει ἄρα εἰς τὴν σύνθεσιν θεῖναι τῇ δοθείσῃ ἴσην τὴν ΓΖ καὶ ἐπιζεῦξαι τὴν ΑΖ καὶ δίχα τεμεῖν κατὰ τὸ Η, καὶ ἐπιζεύξαντα τὴν ΕΗ ἐκβαλεῖν ἐφʼ ἑκάτερα· καὶ ἔσται ἡ ποιοῦσα τὸ πρόβλημα.
