Ὤατον δὲ μετρῆσαι, οὗ ἡ κάτω διάμετρος ποδῶν ε καὶ ἡ ἄνω διάμετρος ποδῶν γ· εὑρεῖν, πόσους κυάθους χωρήσει. ποίει οὕτως· σύνθες τὰς δύο διαμέτρους· ὁμοῦ γίνονται πόδες η· ὧν U+2220΄ γίνονται πόδες δ. ταῦτα κύβισον· γίνονται πόδες ξδ. ταῦτα ἐνδεκάκις· γίνονται πόδες ψδ. τούτων τὸ μβ΄· γίνονται πόδες ιϛ U+2220΄ ζ΄ ιδ΄ κα΄. τοσούτους κυάθους χωρήσει.
