τοσούτων ἔσται ἡ κάθετος. τὸ δὲ στερεὸν εὑρήσομεν οὕτως· σύνθες κορυφὴν καὶ βάσιν· γίνονται λβ· ὧν τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται ιϛ· ἐφʼ ἑαυτὰ γίνονται σνϛ. πάλιν ἀφεῖλον κορυφὴν ἀπὸ τῆς βάσεως· λοιπὰ κδ· ὧν τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται ιβ· ἐφʼ ἑαυτὰ γίνονται ρμδ. τούτων τὸ γ΄· γίνονται μη. ταῦτα προσάγαγε τοῖς σνϛ· γίνονται τδ. ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὴν κάθετον· γίνονται βυιγ. τοσούτων γίνεται τὸ στερεὸν τῆς πυραμίδος.
