Ἔστω πυραμὶς ἑτερομήκης ὁμοίως καὶ κόλουρος εἴτουν ἡμιτελής, ἧς αἱ μὲν β πλευραὶ ἀνὰ ποδῶν ιδ, αἱ δὲ ἄλλαι ἀνὰ ποδῶν κ, τὰ δὲ κλίματα ἀνὰ ποδῶν κϛ καὶ ἡ κορυφὴ ἡ μὲν κατὰ μῆκος ποδῶν δ, ἡ δὲ κατὰ πλάτος ποδῶν β· εὑρεῖν τὸ στερεόν. ποιῶ οὕτως ἄφελε κορυφὴν ἀπὸ τῆς βάσεως παράλληλον ἀπὸ παραλλήλου τὰ β ἀπὸ τῶν ιδ· λοιπὰ ιβ ταῦτα ἐφʼ ἑαυτά· γίνονται ρμδ· ὧν U+2220ʹ γίνονται οβ. καὶ ὁμοίως τὰ δ ἀπὸ τῶν κ· λοιπὰ ιϛ· ἐφʼ ἑαυτὰ γίνονται σνϛ ὧν τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται ρκη. καὶ τὰ οβ· γίνονται σ. τούτων ἄφελε τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται ρ. πολυπλασίασον τὰ κλίματα ἐφʼ ἑαυτά· γίνονται χοϛ ἀφʼ ὧν ὕφειλε τὰ ρ· λοιπὰ φοϛ. τούτων λαβὲ τετραγωνικὴν πλευράν· γίνονται κδ. τοσούτου γίνεται ἡ κάθετος.
