Ἐὰν δὲ ὅλης τῆς σφαίρας βούλῃ τὴν ἐπιφάνειαν εὑρεῖν, τετραπλασίασον τοὺς σνδ δζ· γίνονται ,αιη καὶ β ἕβδομα. τοσούτου ἡ τῆς ὅλης σφαίρας ἐπιφάνεια ἔσται. λέγει τοῦτο Ἀρχιμήδης ἐν τῷ περὶ σφαιρικῶν.
