Καμάραν μετρῆσαι ἔλαττον ἡμικυκλίου τὸ ἔγχυμα ἔχουσαν, ἧς ἡ βάσις τοῦ κενώματος ποδῶν ιδ, οἱ πρωτοσφῆνες ἑκατέρωθεν ἐκ ποδῶν β, ἡ κάθετος ἐν τῷ κενώματι ποδῶν ϛ, τὸ μῆκος ποδῶν ιε. ποίει οὕτως· σύνθες τοὺς ιδ πόδας τοῦ κενώματος καὶ τοὺς ϛ τῆς καθέτου· γίνονται κ. τούτων τὸ U+2220΄· γίνονται ι. ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὰ ϛ· γίνονται ξ. καὶ σύνθες πάλιν τοὺς τοῦ κενώματος πόδας ιδ καὶ τοὺς ἑκατέρωθεν πρωτοσφῆνας ἀνὰ ποδῶν β· ὁμοῦ γίνονται ιη. τούτοις πρόσθες τὰ ϛ τοῦ κενώματος τῆς καθέτου καὶ τοὺς β πόδας· γίνονται κϛ· ὧν U+2220΄ γίνονται ιγ. ταῦτα ἐπὶ τὰ τῆς ὅλης ἀνατάσεως, ἐπὶ τὰ η· γίνονται ρδ. ἀπὸ τούτων ὕφελε τοὺς τοῦ κενώματος πόδας ξ· λοιπὸν τοῦ στερεώματος πόδες μδ. τούτους ποίησον ἐπὶ τούς ιε τοῦ μήκους· γίνονται πόδες χξ. τοσούτων ἡ καμάρα.
