Δύναται δὲ καὶ ἄλλως. Ἡ γὰρ ἐκ τοῦ ∠ σφαιρίου σπάρτος ἀποδεδόσθω διὰ τοῦ Γ τροχίλου εἰς ἕτερον τροχιλίδιον τὸ Σ καὶ ἐκδεδέσθω διὰ τούτου εἰς τὸν ΚΛΜ | διαβήτην. συμβήσεται γὰρ μετεωριζομένου τοῦ σφαιρίου χαλᾶσθαι τὸν ΚΛΜ διαβήτην κρεμάμενον ἐκ τῆς σπάρτου, ὥστε πάλιν μείζονος γενηθέντος τοῦ ἐκτὸς σκέλους τοῦ σίφωνος τὸν οἶνον ῥέειν διὰ τοῦ Μ στομίου.
