τὴν γραφήν. ἐπεὶ δὲ εὗρεν αὐτὸ θανατηφόρον καὶ πρὸ ἁπάντων αὑτήν τε μέλλουσαν τεθνήξεσθαι, Λαῖτόν τε καὶ Ἔκλεκτον ἐπακολουθήσοντας, τῶν τε λοιπῶν τοσοῦτον φόνον, ἀνοιμώξασα καθ̓ ἑαυτήν τε εἰποῦσα εὖ γε ὦ Κόμμοδε: ταῦτα γὰρ χαριστήρια εὐνοίας τε καὶ στοργῆς τῆς ἐμῆς ὕβρεώς τε καὶ παροινίας τῆς σῆς, ἧς ἐτῶν τοσούτων ἠνεσχόμην. ἀλλ̓ οὐ καταπροΐξῃ αὐτὸς μεθύων νηφούσης γυναικός,
