αὐτοκράτορας. Γορδιανοὺς δὲ ἔλεγον ἐκείνους ἐς οὐρανὸν καὶ θεὸν ἀνακεχωρηκέναι. προύθεσάν τε ὑπὲρ τῶν τειχῶν ἀγοράν, ὤνιον παρέχοντες τροφῶν τε παντοδαπῶν καὶ ποτῶν ἀφθονίαν, ἐσθῆτός τε καὶ ὑποδημάτων, καὶ ὅσα ἐδύνατο παρέχειν ἐς χρῆσιν ἀνθρώποις πόλις εὐδαιμονοῦσα
