Ὅτι αἱ ἀνομίαι μου ὑπερῆραν τὴν κεφαλήν μου. ὡσεὶ φορτίον βαρὺ ἐβαρύνθησαν ἐπ’ ἐμέ. Σαφῶς ἐνταῦθα ἐδήλωσεν ὅτι τὰς ἁμαρτίας οὐκ ἰδίας κέκτηται· ἔλαβεν δὲ τὰς ἀλλοτρίας, καὶ διὰ τοῦτο πλῆθος ἐπὶ τῇ κεφαλῇ τῆς δεσποτικῆς σεσωρευμένας σαρκός. οὕτω γὰρ ἔθος τὰ βαρύτερα φορτία βαστάζεσθαι, διόπερ καὶ ἀκάνθαις τὴν κεφαλὴν ἐστεφάνωτο.
