Ἄμφω γε μὴν δασεῖαι τὰ ἔνδον καὶ ὥσπερ ὑποδιαβεβρωμέναι, καὶ μᾶλλον τῆς δεξιῆς ἡ λαιή· τὸ γὰρ ἔμφυτον πῦρ οὐκ ἐν τῇ δεξιῇ, ὥστε οὐ θαῦμα τρηχυτέρην γενέσθαι τὴν λαιὴν ἐσπνέουσαν ἀκρήτου· ταύτῃ καὶ παχετὸν ἐνδεδόμηται φυλακῆς εἵνεκα τῆς ἰσχύος τοῦ θερμοῦ.
