6. φλέβες κροτάφων οὐχ ἱδρυμέναι, οὐδὲ χλώρασμα λαμπρὸν, ἢν πνεῦμα ἐγκαταλείπηται, ἢ βὴξ ξηρὴ, μὴ θηριώδης, ἐς ἄρθρα στήριξιν προσδέχεσθαι δεῖ, κατ᾿ ἴξιν τῶν ἐντασίων τῶν κατὰ κοιλίην ὡς ἐπιτοπουλύ· ἔχουσι δὲ οὗτοι οἱ πλεῖστοι καὶ ἐξέρυθρα, καὶ τῇ φύσει τοῦ λευκοχροωτέρου τρόπου, καὶ οὐχ αἱμοῤῥαγέουσι ῥῖνες, ἢ σμικρὰ αἱμοῤῥαγέουσιν· καὶ ἢν μὲν ῥυέντων ἐγκαταλείπηται, ἕτοιμον· δίψα ἐγκαταλειφθεῖσα καὶ στόματος ἐπιξηρασίη καὶ ἀηδίη καὶ ἀποσιτίη τοῦτον τὸν τρόπον· πυρετοὶ δὲ οὐκ ὀξέες οἱ τοιοίδε, ὑποστροφώδεες δέ.
