58. Οἷσι βῆχες χειμῶνος, μάλιστα δὲ νότοισι, παχέα καὶ πουλλὰ χρεμπτομένοισι, πυρετοὶ ἐπιγίνονται, ἐπιεικῶς δὲ πεμπταῖοι παύονται· αἱ βῆχες δὲ περὶ τὰς τεσσαράκοντα, οἷον Ἡγησιπόλει. Οἷσι θέρμαι λεπταὶ ἔστιν ὅτε παυομένων, οὐχ ὅλον τὸ σῶμα, ἀλλ᾿ ἢ περὶ αὐχένα καὶ ὑπὸ μασχάλας, ἢ κεφαλὴν ἀφιδρώσαντες, παύονται.
