Οἱ δὲ κατὰ Μονόϊμον τὸν Ἄραβά φασιν εἶναι τὴν τοῦ παντὸς ἀρχὴν πρῶτον ἄνθρωπον καὶ υἱὸν ἀνθρώπου, καὶ τὰ γενόμενα, καθὼς Μωσῆς λέγει, μὴ ὑπὸ τοῦ πρώτου ἀνθρώπου γεγονέναι, ἀλλὰ ὑπὸ τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, οὐχ ὅλου, ἀλλ᾿ ἐκ μέρους αὐτοῦ.
