ταῦτα μὲν οὕτως παίζεται. ἕτερα δὲ ἃ καὶ [οἱ] αὐτὰ οἱ παιζόμενοι ὡς μεγάλα Μήσομαι. πίσσης λέβητα μεστὸν ἐπ’ ἀνθράκων καιομένων τιθέντες, ἐπὰν βράσῃ, καθιέντες τὰς χεῖρας οὐ καίονται· ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐπὶ ἀνθράκων πυρὸς περιπατοῦντες γυμνοῖς ποσὶν οὐ καίονται· ἀλλὰ καὶ πυραμίδα λιθίνην θεὶς ἐπὶ πυρὰν καίεσθαι ποιεῖ· ἔκ τε τοῦ στόματος πολὺν καπνὸν προφέρει καὶ πυρώδη· εἶτα καὶ σινδόνα ἐπιθεὶς ἐπὶ λεκάνῃ ὕδατος, πολλοὺς ἐπιμβαλὼν ἄνθρακας καιομένους ἄκαυστον φυλάττει τὴν σινδόνα.
