Καὶ ἐν τῷ εἰπεῖν· «Ἀκούσατε δή, οἶκος Δαυίδ», σημαίνοντος ἦν ὅτι ὃν ἐπηγγείλατο τῷ Δαυὶδ ὁ Θεὸς ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς κοιλίας αὐτοῦ αἰώνιον ἀναστήσειν Βασιλέα, οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ ἐκ τῆς δαυιτικῆς παρθένου γεννώμενος.
