ὥστε μηδέπω νῦν ἐξιτήλους εἶναι τὰς συμφορὰς τὰς διʼ ἐκεῖνον τὸν πόλεμον ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ἐγγεγενημένας, Λακεδαιμονίους δὲ τοὺς τότε δόξαντας εὐτυχεῖν εἰς τὰς νῦν ἀτυχίας διʼ Ἀλκιβιάδην καθεστάναι·
