καί φησι πρὸς αὐτόν· Τέκνον, ταῦτα πάντα σοι δίδωμι, ἀνθ’ ὧν ᾑρετίσω τῆς ἐμῆς θυγατρὸς ἀνὴρ γενέσθαι, γενέσθαι δὲ καὶ κληρονόμος τῆς ἐμῆς οὐσίας. ἥνπερ κληρονομίαν κατασχὼν ἐκεῖνος πάντας ὑπερῆρε τοὺς ἐνδόξους τῆς γῆς καὶ πλουσίους.
