Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων· Πῶς οὖν ὁ λόγος λέγει τῷ Δαυῒδ ὅτι ἀπὸ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ λήψεται ἑαυτῷ υἱὸν ὁ θεὸς καὶ κατορθώσει αὐτῷ τὴν βασιλείαν καὶ καθίσει αὐτὸν ἐπὶ θρόνου τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ [cf. Ps. CXXXI, 11; II R. VII, 12-16, et Act., II, 30];
