ταῦτα μὲν γὰρ τῶν παλαιῶν μαρτύρια ἀρετῆϲ πατέρων· τῶν δὲ νέων ἄλλα τε πολλὰ καὶ ὅτι τῷ βαρβάρῳ ϲτρατῷ ὑποχωρήϲαντεϲ ἐκ τῆϲ πατρίδοϲ καὶ αὐτοὶ καὶ τὰ τέκνα, ὁρμώμενοι ἐκ τῆϲ Σαλαμῖνοϲ ἠλευθερώϲατε πᾶϲαν τὴν Ἑλλάδα καὶ τούτουϲ, οἳ νῦν ἐφ’ ὑμᾶϲ ἔρχονται.
