ὅϲτιϲ οὖν τοιούτων ἄθλων προκειμένων μὴ ἔϲται ἀνὴρ ἀγαθὸϲ ἐν τῷδε τῷ ἀγῶνι, ἀλλ’ οἰόμενοϲ, ὡϲ τοῦ πράττειν γενήϲεται εὐκαιρία τιϲ εἰϲαῦθιϲ, ὑπολείπεται ἢ γνώμῃ ἢ ῥώμῃ, ἀμφοῖν ϲτερηθήϲεται, τῆϲ τε νῦν τῆϲ τε εἰϲαῦθιϲ τῶν ἔργων· ὅδε γὰρ ὁ ἀγὼν αὐτῷ τέλοϲ ἔχει.
