Ἦ γὰρ ἂν κοινωφελεστέραν θεωρίαν ἐστείλαντο οἱ ἄνθρωποι τήνδε μᾶλλον, ἢ Δωριεῖς περὶ Πελοποννήσου μαντευόμενοι, ἢ Ἀθηναῖοι περὶ Ἰωνίας πυνθανό μενοι, ἢ Κορίνθιοι περὶ Σικελίας ἀνερωτῶντες.
