Τὸ δὲ βαρβαρικόν, ὁμοίως μὲν ἅπαντες ξυνετοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ, κατεστήσαντο δὲ αὐτοῖς σημεῖα ἄλλοι ἄλλα. Πέρσαι μὲν πῦρ, ἄγαλμα ἐφήμερον, ἀκόρεστον καὶ ἀδηφάγον· καὶ θύουσιν | Πέρσαι πυρί, ἐπιφοροῦντες αὐτῷ τὴν πυρὸς τροφήν, ἐπιλέγοντες· πῦρ δέσποτα, ἔσθιε.
