τὸν δὲ αὗ πράξεώς τινος ἐργαστικόν, οὐκ ἄνευ σώματος ἀπεργαζόμενον, ἀλλʼ ἐν μὲν στρατηγίᾳ νίκην, ἐν δὲ ἰατρικῇ ὑγίειαν, ἐν δὲ πολιτικῇ δικαιοσύνην· τρίτον δʼ αὗ τεχνῶν εἶδος αὐτὸ λόγον ἄνευ σωμάτων ἐφʼ ἑαυτοῦ κρατυνόμενον, καὶ περὶ αὐτὸν τὴν πραγματείαν ἔχοντα, ὁποῖαι τέχναι γεωμετρικαὶ καὶ ἀριθμητικαί, καὶ ὅσαις τὸ τέλος διανοητικόν, αὐτὸ τοῦτο, οὔτε δὴ πρακτικόν, οὐδὲ ποιητι||κόν. Εἶεν.
